Astes Sports was founded on the vision that "Arts, Sciences, and Tech Evolve Sports". We invite you to read the letter from our founders, Jasper and Jessy, to learn more about our passion for pickleball and the mission that drives us forward.
Dear Friends (and Future Friends) of Astes Sports,
We are a collective of architects, engineers, and artists from Beijing, Melbourne, and the Bay Area, united by our shared passion for pickleball. More than just a sport we love, pickleball captivates us with its potential to democratize physical activity—opening the door for more people to experience the joy of movement.
We view pickleball’s rapid rise as a defining moment in the evolution of sports. Inspired by this vibrant community, we are drawing on our training from MIT and Parsons and our years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Our goal is to harness our expertise in arts, sciences, and technology to design essential products—Paddles, Eyewear, and Accessories—that fuel this growing movement.
Guided by our belief that “Arts, Sciences, and Tech Evolve Sports” (which also inspired the name of our group), we see our products not only as vital tools for professional athletes in high-level competitions but also as means for newcomers to the sport to ignite their passion for pickleball.
Our mission is to foster meaningful connections across the global pickleball community, enriching lives and expanding the sport’s reach. To this end, we actively collaborate with and sponsor Ambassadors & Pros, and partner with Affiliates & Creators to develop engaging content that enhances the sport’s online presence.
In our pursuit of a sustainable business, we’ve also launched a Non-Profit Program to bring our vision to life: making the joy of physical activity accessible to everyone. We hope you’ll join us on this exciting journey as we work to democratize sports and grow the pickleball community together.
